Microsoft Rebranding – the New Microsoft.com

Microsoft
Microsoft’s new look

Microsoft just released a revamped version of their flagship website, Microsoft.com. With the announcement and public beta of Windows 8 OS, Microsoft released a new logo and rebranding for their company. This new look is now incorporated into their new website which can be seen live.

I like the new look, although I had more expectations. I don’t like that the Windows logo now represents the entire company. Also, the site is kind of bland. I mean, the navigation is rather plain and boring. I was expecting a bit more but the site just lacks still.

Is it a step in the right direction, though? Absolutely! It’s nice to see Microsoft take things in a new direction instead of the same old same old. I was expecting a bit more, but it’s refreshing compared to the 90’s outdated logo of Microsoft. As for Windows 8, I didn’t like the beta that much but we’ll wait and see how good it actually is when officially completed and released.
